Hi, my name is Julie and I want to share a story with you. I am a 62 year old woman. I have had Type 2 diabetes since my mid 40's. I have had a long term problem with insulin resistance. My glucose readings fluctuate from normal to the 300's even with following all of the rules and regulations. I am currently an American and I am living in a beautiful South American country where conventional medicine is readily available and I do have health insurance here as well as conventional doctors that I see on a regular basis as I am diabetic. About 6 months ago, my glucose readings started to rise slowly but surely until they were well into the 300s. A normal reading should be between 60 and 120. I was having episodes of faint, weakness, going very pallid, diarrhea, and fatigue. Being the person that I am I went straight to my endocrinologist and of course he increased my insulin and added metformin (glucophage) to be taken 3 times a day. My high blood pressure was also rising and he increased my medication for that. He sent me for blood work and also found that my cholesterol was at 256 and that my triglycerides were at 686. My urine was spilling proteins, which means that my kidneys were in the beginning of failure. I followed their instructions to a tee but to no avail. The doctor kept wanting to change my medications and for awhile I followed all of their rules because I felt as if conventional medicine was my only hope. Then I was having a conversation with a friend and he suggested that I see an alternative medicine doctor that he knew. I agreed because after all what did I have to lose. My diabetes was on a horrible downward slide and so was my health in genral. So I made the appointment not knowing really what to expect. I arrived to my appointment last Friday July 24, 2009. She had a small office with a desk and 2 visitor chairs. There were also 2 examination tables in the small office. She spoke to me regarding my concerns and then explained that she practiced magnetic therapy, also known as biomagnetism. I only had a vague idea of what this type of therapy was. After speaking to me, she asked that I lay down on her examination table. She applied some magnets to different areas of my head, neck and upper torso. She then proceeded to step to the bottom of the table, take my feet and point my toes straight to the ceiling. At this point she held my heels in her hands and started to jiggle them from side to side and ask for different areas of my body to communicate with her. This process went on for about 10 minutes. At this point she added some more magnets to my upper torso and repeated the process for another 10 minutes. Now she was finished and asked for me to sit up. I did but had momentary dizziness upon sitting up. As I waited a moment to stabilize she said that this happening was normal because my energies were coming and going and rising and falling and that my energies were totally out of alignment. She said that this also caused her to not get good readings on my health issues. With this she gave me a paper showing what I needed to buy and how to make the infusions and how to take what are called 5 days of energy baths. I paid for my visit, set my next appointment and set off to purchase the ingredients. The energy baths are on day 1 infusion of sour herbs, day 2 infusion of sweet herbs, day 3 infusion of sweet herbs and sweet spices, day 4 colored petals of roses and day 5 petals of white roses. As I did the baths, the first day I did not feel all that different and no difference in my glucose readings and blood pressure. Day 2 I did the bath but only felt a little more energetic and my readings were a little lower. Day 3 I felt 20 years younger, full of energy and my glucose was down to 100 and my blood pressure in normal ranges. Day 4 and all is the same and I feel great. Tomorrow is day 5 and I am ready for my next reading to see what she has planned for me. Today July 29, 2009 I went for my next appointment. My reading was done and I was told that all of my organs were in good working condition and my medications were cut in half. I was told that it was not a good idea to just stop my medications but to slowly lower my doses. I was also put on a 9 day regimen of drinking lemon juice for 9 days as this will clean out my liver and kidneys. Will keep you all updated with my progress. Thank you for letting me share my story on how wonderful magnetic therapy is.
